Oscar Howell is an independent author, publisher and technology expert.

An experienced C-level Executive, he has held various positions in Product Development, Innovation, Information Systems Management, and General Management. He successfully launched 4 technological start-ups as Director of intra-company incubation laboratories. He has also held non-executive management positions and has advised several companies and start-ups on technology strategy, innovation, digital transformation projects and entrepreneurship.

He has attended the Hochschule für Angewandte Wissenschaften (HAW), MIT, Harvard, Universitat Pompeu Fabra and the University of Leiden. In 2010 he was a mentor at the MIT Legatum Center, and is a member of the MIT Center for Transportation and Logistics.

He was co-founder and president of BuzonE, an innovative SaaS solution for e-invoicing and storage and distribution of electronic documents in Mexico. He is also co-founder of Brechas, an NFP organization that uses wikis to help communities and NGOs share knowledge and information. It has won the MIT 100K Competition in the category of mobile technologies in 2009, with a business model to provide banking services to the unbanked sector in developing countries.

In 2009 he founded the publishing house T48Media in Boston and is building a catalogue in the field of STS (Science, Technology, Society) with a special interest in Economical Business History and Family Business.

Oscar speaks and writes in Spanish, German and English.

He joins Genetikomm in order to carry out Anthropological research and help our clients rediscover their legacy.
